Nationality Requirements for IBPS Clerks in 2025
A candidate has to be one of these
(i) an Indian citizen or
(ii) a Nepali subject, or
(iii) a Bhutan-based subject or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who traveled to India before to January 1, 1962, to relocate there permanently, or a person of Indian descent who has moved to India to permanently settle there from Pakistan, Burma. Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam; however, a candidate who falls into any of the categories above must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Indian government.

- A candidate must meet the minimum requirements of a recognized university degree in any discipline, or any comparable degree approved by the national government.
- To demonstrate that they passed the qualifying exam, the candidate must have a certificate.
- When registering online, the candidate must present a legitimate marksheet / degree certificate confirming that he or she is a graduate on the day of registration and the percentage of marks received in graduation.
- Candidates must be computer literate, having completed courses in computer and information technology in high school, college, or other educational institutions, or hold a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer operations and language.
