School Students in classes 9 and 10 will be learning two Indian languages, while those in classes 11 and 12 will study one Indian language.

In school students

In classes 9 and 10 will now have to learn three languages, with two of them being Indian languages. And school students in classes 11 and 12 will have to study one Indian language and one more language. This is according to the new rules for what students should learn, called the New Curriculum Framework.

Before, students in classes 9 and 10 learned two languages, and students in classes 11 and 12 learned just one language. But now, they will learn more languages.

This new framework

Was made based on the new National Education Policy. The people who decided on this are part of a group led by a person who used to work at ISRO, which is the organization that sends rockets into space.

In the past, school students from classes 9 to 12 had to study five subjects and could choose one more. But now, according to these new rules, students in classes 9 and 10 will need to study seven subjects, and students in classes 11 and 12 will need to study six subjects.

The people who made these rules believe that learning different languages will help students understand different cultures and make them proud of their country. They also think that learning more languages will make students smarter and more open-minded.

The person in charge of education in the country gave these rules to the group that decides what school students should learn. This happened during a meeting. These rules will now help create what students will learn in school and the books they will use.

For classes 9 and 10, schools need to teach three languages, and at least two of them must be from India. Students also need to study other subjects like math, science, art, and more.

In classes 11 and 12, school students need to study two subjects related to language, and at least one of these must be from India. The document also says that the current names for the levels of education will change a little, and there will be a focus on studying different things for four years.

So, students in India will now be learning more languages and different subjects in school.
